For those who haven't heard, chocolate is now considered a super food. Along with its many other benefits, such as preventing oxidisation, chocolate can help you lose weight. Scientists have proven that one square of dark chocolate each day can help shed the pounds so now you can eat it for medicinal purposes!
I hope you all have a fantastic time over the Easter break!
The April Word Count Challengers have been doing it tough. We've reached the halfway point and some of us have been off to a slow start, a few have suffered the sort of setbacks that come with the joy of using technology.
But the month's not over yet!
My own word count is lower than I would have liked it to be at this point. If my computer hadn't needed a quick visit to the doctor (yes, another one...) I may have reached the 25K mark. But if I can write 2500 words a day I should still be able to reach my goal.
Does anyone else have a word count they're aiming for by the end of the day/week/month?
Before You Hit Send is a self-editing course run by Angela James, Executive Editor of Carina Press and it’s the same one that was given to the Carina authors in January. If you’re thinking about targeting Carina this your chance to learn everything you need to know from the Executive Editor herself! If you’re following a more traditional publishing route this is a rare opportunity to set yourself ahead of the pack by avoiding the common pitfalls of submissions.
Angela will share self-editing tips and much more including how to avoid overwriting. For full details click here.
The course costs just $35.00 will start April 11, 2011 and finish May 2, 2011.
I’m really excited about this. It’s a rare opportunity and I don’t want anyone to miss out because they haven’t come across it themselves.
You can read reviews here and you can register here but keep in mind that there are only a limited number of spots available.
